Fundraising

Fudis is a free social dub media platform. I'm offering this service to you, because I want to and I cover all the costs. However, if you like the Fudis and would like to support my cause, I'm happy about any donation you could spare.

Since I try to get rid of “big corp” in my life as well as support European companies, I use the Dutch fundraising platform “WhyDonate”. It utilises the Irish payment process system “Stripe”. Click the button below to get to my fundraising page:

To give you an idea about the costs that I have from running this platform:
 

• Necessary recurring costs such as monthly server costs (some 15€ at the moment; but will increase if the usage of the site grows)
• Necessary one-time costs such as payments for external help for developing the site (e.g. new plugins or code-fixes)
• Optional costs such as fees for creating app versions and offering the app on the Google Play Store and iOS Store. To give you an idea: An Android app costs some 90€ to finish and 25€ one-time fee for the Google Play Store. An iOS app would cost some 140€ to finish and 99€ per year to have the app listed in the iOS Store. Since I myself don't have an iPhone, I am not willing to pay that much money to offer an iOS app. However, if this gets funded, I happily create and offer that app.

Alternative ways of helping out Fudis:
 

• Bank transfer: If you don't want to use WhyDonate, a direct bank transfer would be fee- and hassle-free.
• Gift cards: Those help as well, because I can then save money elsewhere for Fudis. Please choose European companies, if possible. No Amaz0n.
• Marketing: Spreading the word and telling people about Fudis surely won't cost more than one gold nugget tops.
• Programming: If you can code PHP, CSS or - preferably - Elgg, you can help directly with the development of this site.
• Other: I'm open for ideas. Just let me know if you have something in mind.
